What we keep, and why

What we collect

We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, do and report on the work.

• Contact and booking forms. Your name, email, phone number, the property address or town, details about your array such as panel count, and anything you write in your message.
• Technical details sent with a form. When you send a form, the message we receive includes the time, your IP address and an approximate city and region, which helps us spot spam.
• Emails, calls and texts. What you tell us when you write or call, including photos or app screenshots you send.
• Visit details. Access notes such as gate codes, pet information, the ladder spot and the panel model, plus our inspection notes.
• Photos of your property. Pictures of your panels, roof, racking and the areas around the array, taken during a visit.
• Solar production data. If you choose to give us access, the production figures your inverter or monitoring app records.
• Billing records. Invoices, what you paid and when.

Access to your solar app

Some of our work starts with your own production numbers: we read the last 30 days before a wash, and output watch reads them every month. We only do this with your consent.

• We ask for read-only access, through the app’s own sharing or installer-access feature where it has one. We never ask for your password if a sharing option exists.
• We read production and status data. We do not change settings, update firmware or control your system.
• You can revoke access at any time, in the app itself or by emailing service@boostedclean.com. We remove our access within two business days of a request.
• When a plan ends, we remove our access and stop reading your data.

Photos taken on visits

Our crew photographs the array before and after a wash and anything worth noting during the glass-level check. We point the camera at the panels, roof and equipment, and avoid people, windows and neighboring homes.

Photos go into your report and our job record. We do not post photos of your home online or use them in marketing unless you give us written permission, and even then we remove anything that identifies the address.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• reply to your message and prepare a quote;
• schedule, carry out and report on visits;
• read your production data and flag changes, if you asked us to;
• send invoices and keep the records tax law requires;
• keep our crew safe on site, for example knowing about pets or a steep pitch;
• keep the website working and free of spam.

We do not use your information for automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Our website and analytics

The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks.

Form messages are passed to our email by Cloudflare Email Routing. The website itself does not store them in a database.

We count visits with cookieless analytics. It tells us how many people view a page and roughly where they came from, without cookies, without identifying you and without following you to other sites. We run no advertising trackers and no social media pixels.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We share it only:

• with service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling and invoicing tools, who may use it only to provide their service to us;
• with your installer, roofer, electrician or insurer, but only when you ask us to send them a report or photos;
• with a buyer’s or seller’s agent for a home sale solar report, when you order one for that purpose;
• when the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records, reports and photos for as long as you use our services and for three years after your last visit, so we can compare one season with the next and answer warranty or insurance questions. Messages that never turn into a booking are deleted within 12 months. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will, except where we must keep it by law.

How we protect it

Records are kept in password-protected business accounts. Only the people who need your details for a job can see them. Gate codes and access notes are shared with the crew for the day of the visit only.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and do what Colorado law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop reading your solar app data;
• stop sending you anything other than messages about a booked visit.

If the Colorado Privacy Act applies to us, you also have the rights it gives Colorado residents, including access, correction, deletion, a portable copy of your data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and profiling. We do none of those last three. We respond within 45 days, and if we decline a request you can appeal by replying to our answer; we will tell you the outcome and how to contact the Colorado Attorney General if you disagree.

We honor these requests for every customer, whether or not the law requires it. Email office@boostedclean.com from the address we have on file, or call us, and we will confirm it is you before we act.

Children

Our services are for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and our site is not aimed at children.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell current customers by email.
