  • Roof height and pitch

Two-story roofs and steep pitches can add $25 to $50.

  • Ladder or no ladder

A ground mount we can reach from the ground costs $20 less.

  • Distance

Travel is included inside our service area. Beyond it, we quote travel up front.

  • Not extra

The glass-level check comes with every wash at no extra cost.

Is a plan worth it?

If your roof needs washing twice a year, yes: the two-season plan is $259 against $298 for two single washes. If rain keeps your output steady and one wash a year is enough, it is not. Residential plans have no contract; cancel any time before the next visit.

What else affects the bill?

Why do you need a photo first?

Panel count, roof height, pitch and access set the price, and a photo or satellite view shows all four. Most quotes take one look. We confirm the price by email before we book, so the number on the morning is the number you agreed to.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Travel inside the service area, the glass-level check, the photos and the production comparison are all included. The only additions are the height, pitch and distance notes on this page, and we name them before you book, never on the invoice.

How do I pay?

We email an invoice after the visit, alongside the before and after photos, and you can pay it online by card. Plans are invoiced once a year when the first visit is booked, and output watch can be paid monthly or yearly.

What does commercial care cost for my roof?

From $9 per kW a year, so a 100 kW roof starts at $900 a year. For scale, NREL’s 2020 PV O&M cost benchmark put commercial rooftop O&M at $18.55 per kWdc a year, a total that includes management and other items beyond washing.

Can you wash just part of the array?

Yes, if one section collects most of the film, such as the rows under a tree or beside a dirt road. We price by the panels we wash and still look at every module. Your production comparison will show whether the unwashed rows were holding up.
