Why two washes, and why then?

Front Range panels collect the most film in two stretches: spring pollen and cottonwood, then the dry dust and smoke of late summer. One wash after each covers most of the year.

When do we come?

  • Late June

    Spring wash

After pollen and cottonwood fluff settle, before the long July days.

  • September

    Late-summer wash

After the dry months, ash and dust, while autumn sun is still strong.

  • Each visit

    Glass-level check

Every module looked at, photographed, and noted for anything the installer should see.

  • After each visit

    Your numbers

A short comparison of the next clear days against the month before.

What is in the plan?

  • Two four-pass visits a year on dates we confirm two weeks ahead
  • Pure water, soft brushes, no soap, no pressure washer
  • Before and after photos of every row, both visits
  • Glass-level notes with photos of anything to watch
  • A production comparison after each wash
  • A free reschedule if smoke, hail or snow moves the date

Example: a Golden roof under cottonwoods

A ranch home near Clear Creek in Golden with 18 panels on a low-pitch roof below two cottonwoods. Spring fluff and seeds cling to the lower edge of each row every June. On the two-season plan, the first wash lands the last week of June and the second in mid-September after the dry months. Each visit sends row photos and notes; in this example the September check also flags a small nest starting under the bottom row.

Is it right for you?

A good fit

  • Homes with 10 to 40 panels on a roof you would rather not climb
  • Roofs under cottonwoods, pines or near dirt roads and fields
  • Owners who want the panels handled without thinking about it

Probably not

  • Steep, rain-washed arrays that already hold their output; a single wash may do
  • Commercial roofs; see the commercial care contract

What do people ask about this plan?

What does the two-season plan cost?

From $259 a year for up to 20 panels, which is less than two single washes at $149 each. Larger arrays add $5 a panel per visit over 20. Prices are indicative and confirmed from a photo of your roof before the first visit.

Can I choose the dates?

Yes, within the season. We propose a week two weeks ahead and you pick the morning. If smoke, hail or a late snow makes a date pointless, we move it at no charge and tell you why.

Is there a contract?

No long contract. The plan renews yearly, and you can cancel any time before the next visit without a fee. If you cancel after the first wash, you pay the single-wash price for the visit you had and nothing more.

What if the check finds a problem?

We photograph it, note it plainly, and tell you who should fix it: the installer for a loose clip or wiring, a roofer for flashing, the insurer after hail. We do visual checks only and do not open or repair electrical parts.

Do I need monitoring too?

Not for this plan. We read whatever your inverter app already shows before and after each wash. If you want someone watching the numbers every month, add output watch or choose year-round care, which includes it.
