River trees and spring fluff

The South Platte cottonwoods set Littleton’s wash calendar.

A bend of river carved in clear glass on white plaster, with soft cottonwood fluff floating on its surface.

When should Littleton panels be washed?

After the cottonwoods finish. Fluff from the South Platte and its creeks lands in late May and June and sticks to dewy glass, so a wash in late June or July clears it once instead of twice.

What lands on Littleton panels?

  • Cottonwood fluff

Seeds from the river and creek trees mat along the lower panel edges.

Afternoon storms off the foothills can drop hail from May to August.

Ken Caryl and Roxborough roofs take gusts and grit off the hogback.

What do Littleton owners ask?

Should I wash before cottonwood season?

No. A wash in May just gives the fluff clean glass to stick to. Wait until the seeds stop falling, usually late June along the river, then book one wash. If you are on a plan, we time the first visit for that window and confirm the date two weeks ahead.

Is Roxborough inside your area?

Yes. Roxborough, Ken Caryl and Columbine are inside our service area, so travel is included. Roxborough is our longest drive in the south metro, so we book it on the Thursday route, and the first slot there may start a little later than in Lakewood.

What should I do after hail?

Check from the ground first: look for cracked glass, debris on the roof and a drop in your app over the next clear days. If anything looks wrong, a storm check from $119 gives you photos of every panel. We do not handle insurance claims; your insurer does.
